What I experienced from my abduction by aliens.

I was going on a hike in the mountains with my friends for a few hours. It was exhausting so we stopped and went back to our camp for a break when suddenly, a flying saucer came by and sucked us all up into the alien ship. When we were inside, we were put in different cells and the opening was sealed by some kind of a force field. There weren't any other openings in the cell when suddenly, the force field was malfunctioning and turned off. I managed to sneak out and found 1 of my group members plus a national guardsman.

We managed to free the other hostages because the force field was controlled by a control panel. We explored the ship a little bit and stole some of the alien weapons until we were spotted by alien guards and were fired upon. We managed to kill some of the aliens with the weapons that we stole form them, but they killed most of my group members. Luckily, we found the main control panel and found ourselves a way out. The national guardsman called for reinforcements, and we destroyed the alien ship.

What I did over Fall Break

I invited Brandon Min over to my house on Monday and we watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it was really fun. But for most of the week, I stayed home and played with my phone. On Thursday, my mom had to get a new job so she went to a job interview while I stayed at the library. Thursday was just kind of regular, I just kind of stayed home and played with my phone.

The proudest moments in my life so far would be...

One of the proudest moments in my life is when I went to S. Korea in 2014, and it was great. The thing that lead me to that moment was when my mom planned the trip to Korea to see my grandmother who was in a hospital. It made me feel excited because I've always wanted to travel to Korea to see what it was like. The help I had to get there was my mom and my little brother. I didn't even struggle to get there.

Another 1 of my proudest moments in my life was when I went to L. Vegas during this year's summer break and it was awesome! The thing that lead me to that moment was when I asked my parents if we could all go together. It made me feel great because ever since I went to Vegas as a child, I've always wanted to go there again. I did struggle sometimes to get there, but it was also exhausting to get back. The help I got to get there was my parents.

I believe...

I believe that I'll be able to do well in school & pass. I believe that I'll have a great life after school ends for me. I believe that I'll be able to do better in the next school year. I believe that work will be harder for me later on. I believe that I'll be able to get the required amount of OTCU goals by the end of the school year. I believe that things around RKMS will keep changing. I believe that I'll make new friends in 9th grade, but keep some of the old ones. I believe that I'll pass all my classes. I believe that world will come to peace. I believe that the Global War on Terror will come to an end.

My favorite memory of this school year and why.

My favorites memory of this school year is when I got to use my phone in ELA class last month on a Friday because I finished my religious essay. This was my favorite memory of this school year because I got to play with my phone and watch some YouTube videos like mcjuggernuggets. Besides, Mcjuggernuggets is a really funny youtube channel. I even got to eat snacks and watch a movie.

Liberating the Internet

What are some challenges that Whael Ghonim say about facing today's social media?

First, the rumors that people spread by bias are also believed by millions of people worldwide.

Second, we create our own echo chambers, we only tend to talk to people that we agree with.

Third, online discussions descend into angry mobs. All of us probably know that.

Fourth, it's hard to change our opinions so we happen to keep them.

Fifth, you can't have deep conversations, only shallow conversations.

Question 2: What are some suggestions Wael Ghonim tells his audience for how we can "liberate the Internet"?

Suggestion 1: We need to work hard on figuring out how technology could be part of the
solution rather than part of the problem.

Suggestion 2: We also need tho think about effective crowdsourcing mechanisms, to fact-check widely spread online information, and reward people who take part in that. In essence, we need to rethink today's social media ecosystem and redesign its experiences to reward thoughtfulness, civility, and mutual understanding

Suggestion 3: As a believer in the Internet, I teamed up with a few friends, started a new project, trying to find and explore probabilities. Our first product is a new media platform for conversations.

My favorite kind of music

I don't have a favorite music and I never will.

Social networking sites that I have used

I don't use that much social networking sites, all I use is YouTube because for other sites like Twitter and Facebook, to be honest, I don't really know why people use them. But for YouTube, I get to watch whatever videos I want. I can also subscribe to different YouTube channels so that I know what new videos they make. My favorite Youtube channel is McJuggerNuggets. I also use Google because first of all, it is the most widely used website in the world, and second, I can search up different things. These images down here is psycho dad chainsawing and axing his 20 something year old son's xbox one. (Its from a video called psycho dad chainsaws xbox and this really happened.)

What are your goals for this quarter in Technology and all you classes?

My goals for this quarter is to get my grades up again and improve on my work. But the thing that's preventing me from doing this is that I am lazy sometimes. The class that I am most worried about is Math 7 Honors because since we are learning 8th grade and high school math, I am struggling to get my grades up and in danger of getting kicked out of Honors. I am also failing other classes like ELA and Science. But hopefully, I can improve my grades by not being lazy and finishing my homework on time so that I can pass my classes. But for now, I'm not satisfied with my grades.
1.   70% in ELA
2.  70% in Math
3.  70% Cumulative Class Average (CCA)
4.  Progress in Reading Fluency and Pass 6/7 Required Books at Color Reading Level
5.  Pass 2 out of 4 Benchmark Writing Exams with a score of 3 or higher
6. Students need to have met 4 out of 5 goals to promote to the next grade level.

My favorite movie or book of all time

My favorite movie is The Martians because I like how Mark Watney was able to survive on Mars without the support of his other astronauts. Also, it was kind of strange how NASA & Mark were having the same ideas of communicating with each other at the same time. But, how did he grow potatoes in the space lab on the martian soil, and how did he make his own water? I also like how Mark managed to survive on Mars alone.

Writing a letter to an alien

Dear alien,

I heard that you're coming to earth, that's great! I was hoping I could take you to Naval Air Station Lemoore, a military base in Central California. Do want to see our military jets, I hope you'll be impressed by our weaponry. But don't go to Edwards Air Force Base, or Area 51; or else they'll come looking for you. Area 51 is also a military air force base.

Happiest day

My happiest day was when I went to the California Science Center yesterday with my little brother and my mom. I liked what we saw there and I also liked the food we ate there. But while we were exploring this garden, we ended up at the Museum of Natural History and it was a long day there. When we got home, it was so hot that I was lying down in my bedroom, playing with my phone. It was a great day.

My own holiday

Actually, I don't know what to call my holiday because I don't fell like doing that. But I have had some exciting moments during my life. I'm just not going to tell you what they are.

What I want to do when I grow up.

If I grew up, I would want to be in the US military as my job. But I'm still thinking about what part of the military I should be in: The National Guard, the Marines, or for NATO and the UN.
The kind of family that I'd want would be smart, strong, and a respectful family; that way, my future family can have good money, good education, and a better job. The amount of kids that I'd want would be 2 kids because if my family had only one child, we wouldn't be able to pass on our generations. I would want to live in a very expensive home so that me, my wife, and my children in the future can fell comfortable. Besides, I never lived in an expensive home before.

What I did over Spring Break

During Spring Break, I stayed home for the entire 5 days. While I was staying home, I played with my dad's phone, his computer, and my little brother's computer. I couldn't play with them much because my dad had to work and my little brother wouldn't let me play with his computer a lot. I t was kind of boring but since mom was out at work early, I got to play without my mom getting mad. Also, whenever I played with my dad's phone, my brother sometimes with ask me to give it to him so that I couldn't play. So I couldn't do much over Spring Break. I went to the California Science Center and the National History Museum on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. But I got so tired and it was really hot so when I went home, I started playing with my phone and started taking a nap. My goal for this quarter is to just do well in school and move on to 8th grade.

How to be a better digital citizen

I would chat with people on social medias without saying mean things or cyberbullying. If one of my friends posted a YouTube video, I'd comment on that person's video. Also, even though that person is my friend, I shouldn't hack or copywrite his/her personal info. If I do, he/she might end up hacking my electronics and taking my personal info.

The 10 most important inventions in my life and why

One of 10 most important inventions in my life is the Galaxy phone because it is really efficient and I can play games in different places and I can call people. Paper is another one of the important inventions to me because I can write and take notes on it whenever I am working in class. The 3rd invention is the computer. If we didn't have computers, then finding useful information for different things and saving files would be harder. Besides, the internet shows useful info. The 4th invention would be money because we wouldn't be able to buy things without it and the country's economy would grow out of control. The next invention would be vehicles because vehicles like cars and planes are a much easier transportation. The next invention would be telescopes because we use them to look at other planets and objects in space in order to learn about them.

My opinion on NYC's sugar ban

I think it is a great idea to ban soft drinks because people sometimes got fat from the large amount of calories and the sugar. Plus, sugary drinks aren't good for you.

One of my most embarrassing moments in my life

One of my most embarrassing moments in my life was when I was in 6th grade. I had to present my digital portfolio in Ms. Ha's class. This was embarrassing because since I didn't start on my portfolio, I had nothing to say and there were a lot of students looking at me. I really wish I finished my portfolio on zohosites. I also made a bunch of excuses of why I didn't finish my digital portfolio and Ms. Ha got really disappointed at me.

Where else in the world would I be

I would want to be in South Korea because the country has the world's fastest internet connection speed and the most advanced mobile data network so that I can play with electronics more easily. Another reason I'd want to be in S. Korea is because I have only been there since the 2014 summer vacation in July. Also, most of my family members in Korea are surprised to see me since 2014 so I hope that they would be happy to see me again if I come back next time. I also like the food that they make there like kimchi (which is a type of pickle) and many other stuff. The first chart below shows the top 15 countries by 4g lte penetration.
